Love Glock, hate the factory sights. I use Wilson Combat Vickers Combat Elite BattleSights, some with FO, some with tritium night sight.

TFO and Big Dot are my favorites though the Glock standard night sights are great too.

Glock standard night sights are a no-brainer for me. Easy to install and they work great.

They are $60 that I factor into every purchase of a Glock pistol.

I like the factory sights, but when I started shooting IDPA with my Glock 19 I switched out the sights to Trijicon HDs with the orange front ring. I found that when shooting rapidly from the draw that my eyes picked up the orange front sight quicker than they did the factory sight, plus I carry this gun alot so the night sights are a plus!

I love the Warren Tactical Sevigny tritium sights. Very close to the sight picture on my Dan Wessons.

Here are what they look like:

I paint the standard white U sight black so as to wind up with a single white centered line. I like the "dot the eye" sight picture.

That's a great idea! I love the dot-the-eye sight picture too. That being said I opted for a new, kind of low-profile sight, that in essence makes a straight line with three dashes:

I have a couple Glocks with the Trijicon NS's and a couple of others that still have the factory plastic sights.
One of my carry guns is a G-27 which has the Trijicon night sights and a Lasermax. I don't have a problem with the factory Glock sights but I prefer night sights if I'll be carrying after dark.

The factory plastic sights are crap. The main reason to go with nite-sites is they are made of steel. The front plastic sight on Glocks isn't known for durability, they often get chewed up and fuzzy or fall out.

There are way more metal sight options now than when I first started working on Glocks 25 years ago.

When I bought my G19 about 2.5 years ago, I got the Glock factory night sights. I'm perfectly happy with them.

I have the factory sites on one and TruGlo on the other and both work well but I do shoot tighter groups with the TruGlo.

Some Pics

I like this sight picture, it's basically a straight line with 3 dashes and with the charging handle, I can have another straight line (below the sights) to measure trueness of my sight front and rear sight picture. Also, my IWB holster with pistol.

I've never seen these before. Can you please tell us a bit more about them?

I never changed them on any Glock I owned, but I never really liked them from a durability standpoint. If I carried the gun in an open bottom holster with the muzzle exposed, the soft plastic front sight always seemed to get dinged up more than I would like.

If I were Glock, I would just slap some cheap steel ones on the gun and raise the price $20 or $30. Then again, keeping plastic sights on your gun keeps your $499 gun from being a $529 gun and inspires people to potentially purchase your factory night sights.
