Just got done disassembling and cleaning my Glock mags. I noticed that the G26 10 round mag had the spring sticking out a couple of coils longer than my G27 13 round mag.

I was assuming that they (the springs) would both stick out of the mag by the same margin. But I was wrong.

Do they both use the same spring length?

    Bingo. G19 spring = G26 spring.

Would it be fair to say then that the G26 magazine is more reliable than the G19 magazine, for both use the same springs....but in the 26, there is more "tension" on the last round?
