I like the magwells sold by Agency Arms and Suarez Int'l but both say not for use with OEM Glock factory 10 round mags. I've asked them why not and they just say they interfere somehow.

Does anyone know if this is an easy cure using a dremel on either the magwell, the base pad, or on both?

Glock magwells extend below the factory frame. My guess is with those magwells, you need a +2 or other extension to get the mag seated. The floorplate on your Ca mags probably would hit the well before the mag is seated.

It could just be a generic comment about 10 round full size Glock magazines. Their reputation is not good. I've read lots of posts from guys in restricted capacity states that would rather carry a G26 or chop their G17/G19/G34 down to take G26 mags rather than use the full size (or G19 size) 10 rounders.

so I drove down to the Glock Store today and we lined up 17 round vs 10 round Glock factory OEM mags. The 10 round is shorter overall length. And between the locking lug area of the 10 rnd mag and the buttpad is shorter.

It has no affect on any stock G17 but with Agency Arms concealed carry magwell the 10 round will not clip in. Unless you really slam on it then force it to clip in to the mag release. So the answer would be to dremel on the magwell or dremel on the mag's butt plate. It won't take much material removal to work. FYI.

and now that I'm home and have installed the Agency Arms Concealed Carry magwell on my Gen 3 G17 with OEM 10 round mags, there is no clearance problem whatsoever. But on the Glock Store Gen 3 there was an issue. Very strange.
