I am considering buying an OD GLOCK off of the internet and it seems to me to look more tan than green. Is this true? Would some owners of OD GLOCKS post their pix so I can check them out?

Thanks

I have a G17 in OD. Does not look quite like that one.

OD is the only way I like a Glock.

May not do anything for performance, but does sort of make it slightly more visually appealing.

OD is a stretch in terms of describing the color. I saw one this weekend and it is more "Coyote" or "Flat Dark Earth" per the updated milspec than Olive Drab of old. More desert than woodland but still green enough to blend into a woodland setting. Pure desert tan is deviod of green and is rather pink.

I like S&W and Glock's version of this color. Very neutral.

Yes it's true, the lighting can change the color dramatically as shown by Glockula. Mine was taken indoors in a lightbox, outdoors it looks quite different.
I've got black ones and colored ones, I'd like a camo one as well. Variety is the spice and all that;)

I think the reason the gun looks tan to some is due to colorblindness. I'm not saying that as in insult. I am colorblind and I thought I would buy a "tan Glock" one day, only to realize that I was "looking" at an OD Glock.

No, it's the color of the plastic. Get an O.D. Glock next to an O.D. and a Dark Earth XD and the O.D. Glock is almost the same color as the Dark Earth XD, just a tad darker.
