Odd that you watched that stuff, as I did the same last night. There was a young guy who did a one-handed field strip of a sig and there were several responses to his tease that he dared anyone to do that with a glock. It's actually fairly instructive if there are some persons who've lost a hand for whatever reason that such is possible.

I gave it a shot today and I can nearly do it. It will take a bit more practice however. You can't let your hand get sweaty :)

    Pictures speak louder than words..

    ...

As much as I'm a Sig fan, no Glocks, but hold nothing against them, I have to give it to Glock-man on this one..

Sig-man has to eat his words, and just in time, as his worded commercial reeked of an overdose of Sig Cool aid vs the silent, but most effect, demonstration by the smarter Glock rep.. lol

Kid with gun, was my take on the Sig challenge..

    OMMV,

Amusing. I don't really see that much utility in being able to field strip a pistol with one hand, but I suppose it could come in handy...

you can get the slide off without the gun ever touching the table, too. Just use your pinky to get the first half of the switch down.

Very impressive on both their parts. The Glock field strip was very impressive.

    HA!

Glock didn't invent simplicity in design, but they sure as heck employ it well.
