I am one of those folks who LIKE gun shows, so if you do not, please do not feel you have to waste time replying.
We have several good shows here in Amarillo, three per year from from the club I am in plus about 4-6 more with about 110-120 tables each show... but this weekend I am attending my first Tulsa show...4000 tables!
Takes up the entire Pavillion at the fairground.
I try to go to a big church function each year in that location so I am familiar with how large a building it really is, and I am VERY EXCITED!
At my club's shows here in Amarillo I usually set up a table, but I will not be doing so in Tulsa.
I am wondering however, what kinds of things should I take to carry around?
With such a larger market, I am thinking about some of the more expensive guns that usually sit on my table without much interest like my light-weight stainless Weatherby MKV? or my Lever Action 454 Casull?
The only guns I have been able to get interest on lately have been less expensive guns, less than $300 or so.
I have some luck usually in trades, but most people just want to talk $$
I actually like to shoot my guns, so if I can't buy something else to shoot with the money someone is willing to give me, then I don't want to talk $$, I would rather trade.
Is the gun climate much different in Tulsa than West Texas? Would anyone have any experience with both?
Thanks,
