I've been tinkering with a RIA Tactical 1911 that I mostly use for IDPA and target shooting at the range, but I carry it every now and then.
I stumbled across low-recoiling 200gr load that is giving me outstanding accuracy, and nearly duplicates the ballistics of 200gr +P out to about 15yards. Problem is the gun has fixed sights that are calibrated for the standard 230gr load, and the 200gr shoots 2 inches low at 7yds, and about 1 inch left.
So now I'm looking for a good set of adjustable sights that are also suitable for IWB carry, and I have no idea where to even start since this is the first set of sights I've every replaced on a handgun. I'd like them to be fully adjustable for windage and elevation, but low profile enough to comfortably carry and draw from an IWB holster. Tritium or other night sights would be preferred.
Any suggestions?
