3 inch Smiths command a premium around here. I have a 2.5 inch 19 that works well but I don't know the last time that I saw one. Ruger SP101's are plentyful in 2.5 inch configuration . I frequently carry a 442 38 in my pocket with plus P.

Do you shoot 357 ammo in your guns chambered for it.

I have a 357 Ladysmith stainless with 5inch barrel, ported, modified for doa only, and trigger job that shoots into one inch bull at ten yards. Any thoughts.

SP101 is my favorite. I like it over others like a couple of S&W and Tauri.

Rossi 461. Great guns for conceal and are great guns period. I bought one last week. I bought another once I received the first one. I've owned a 462 for a while. It is a GREAT gun. So is it's little brother. God Bless

I think that Ruger has perfected the carry revolver in the LCR. Light weight, affordable, and a dang good trigger.

There are six 3" stainless S&W Model 65s for sale on Gun Broker right now, 730pm Eastern Time, Saturday, January 10.

Go buy one!

Shot my vintage S&W 19-4 for the first time yesterday. This nickel-plated 4" beauty shot like a champ. It also was nice to shoot with the temporary Pachmayr Grippers on it. The gun's throats are tight, so I used jacketed and semi-jacketed ammo this time. Using 158 American Eagle and 150 Starfire, this K-frame, which is no lightweight, handled them well and shot tight groups.

This gun is likely to become number one in my .357 Magnum carry rotation.

Rossi 461. 3rd one I own. Great little guns. For the price they can't be beat. God Bleds

Sorry for the small pics.

It's no Ruger. But, it wasn't meant to be. $300 out the door, 26 ounces makes it heavy enough to not hurt with the 357 mag loads. Built well. Accurate. Easy to conceal. Best gun I've found for my purposes at a great price. I have a hidden hammer one this size too. Check them out. God Bless

I agree with you WV.
I also have a Rossi 461. Very accurate, easy to shoot, smooth trigger.
Great carry gun with a few 5-Star reloaders, and you're all set.
Very happy with mine!

Enjoy the day

I dont carry a snub very often but when I do a 605, SP101, or Smith 649 fits the bill nicely. 125 gr or 110 grain loads perform well. What ever you choose, practice and train.
