I'm going to be picking up a Ruger 10/22 soon and plan on using it as just a fun plinking rifle. I want to get a scope that has a quick detach because I have seen that some scopes can be too big for the bag it comes with. So if it is, I'd like to be able to put on/take off the scope easily. Yes, I know, I could just get a bigger bag, but I like the bag that it comes with.

What would be a good quick detach scope for the takedown? I don't want to spend too much.

I do have an NcStar red dot that I might ut on for a while, but I want a scope for it. That BSA looks pretty nice for the price. How long have you had it? Is it pretty durable and reliable?

have them on mine and my wifes, did Appleseed shoots over 2 days and they did not lose zero after about 400 rounds through each one. A friend has 2 at his range that are used many times a week for Hunter Education classes and they have been going strong for a few years now, ya cannot beat the price and if they need replacement after 3 or 4 years it will not break the bank although I do not see that happening.....
