Got a new toy

So I went to Afghanistan last year, and took part in a unit purchase from Kimber. We got Stainless IIs with some engraving, nice grips and a display box for $1067. I think the price was pretty good, and I think they turned out pretty nice. My only complaint is that I was home 4 months before the gun came. Anyway, here it is.

Thanks everybody. I was a little iffy about spending that much on a gun I never got to hold and check out, but I think it turned out pretty nice, and I'm happy with it. Just can't wait to get to the range with it.

I've been a fan of Kimbers since they first came out and have carried one for over 15 years. I think we all owe Kimber a debt of gratitude for raising the bar for out-of-the-box performance for M1911s.
