Just suppose the government said you couldn't buy any more guns or ammo, are you satisfied with what you have now?? What would you put as the one gun as the have to have but you don't yet?:scrutiny:

All I have is a 1911 and an AK-47, but Hey. I'm good. I do have a .44 but its in the shop and doesn't count.

Erm no. There will be other guns.

What the Government can do is pay me a subsidy to maintain my guns forever.

Only one gun? Not an easy thing! I have wanted a .44 mag for a long time. Maybe a S&W mod 29. I think I could live with that. maybe.

seeing as I have a .357 revolver, I would probaly get a lever action carbine to go with it....

Interesting hypothetical, difficult decision...

If it could be any gun, I think for me an MG34 is a no-brainer.

If it had to be any gun we can currently, readily get (nowhere near enough $$ for the above), I think it would have to be a SIG P-210.

Gunwise I have pretty much what I want... For now. I will definitely shoot up what I have so no satisfaction there. The one gun I don't have, but would like is either an AR15 or M1 carbine.

while there are still guns that i want, if the government said no more ammo, stocking up on whatever i could find to keep the ones i already have running would be where my money would go. without the ammo, they are just expensive clubs.

I'm satisfied with what I have. Plenty for use in self-defense, sporting, hunting, and revolutionary purposes. I don't have a shotgun yet, and I could use one if I ever want to hunt birds. I'll probably add one this year since that's all I can get ammo for now.

Great. There's money to be made from any form of prohibition. Just ask Joe Kennedy. Prohibition + lathe + mill = economic opportunity. The market hears and obeys.

There are 3 guns I wish I had but don't.
Kimber Tactical Custom
FNP 9
Glock 21SF
After I purchase tose guns I don't know of any others I may Immediately want

If the government said you couldn't buy any more guns or ammo...
My bet would be that order would only be issued if we were put under martial law.

If that was the case, I would get what I need on the black market
and/or acquire those 'supplies' from those pesky UN troops.

Disclaimer:
I'm not advocating going after troops (domestic or otherwise).
Just saying if SHTF ALL BETS ARE OFF and we will do what we must to survive as free people.

Follow up. I'd love to have one of those H&K 416s.

I'm pretty well fitted, but I really would like to have a good wet-weather 12ga. auto.

I probably have enough, but it would be against the constitution for the to do that as it is written now. we need to try to do all we can to stop any new bills from passing that would let them do that

runrabbitrun: "Just saying if SHTF ALL BETS ARE OFF and we will do what we must to survive as free people."

Doesn't fly, Orville.

Whether the lights come back on a week later, a year later, or not at all, individuals, their communities and the state will mete out justice as seen fit. Life does not become a video game just because the lights go out. Those who would see me and mine as a way to obtain the food and weapons they lack, or my community as a foraging source, will learn the folly of their reasoning the hard way -- in the gutter.

DOD I feel the same way too.
One of the reasons we are armed in my house is to
STOP thugs from taking from us and or
attempting to take over our areas.

I'm also thinking more along the lines of a national situation
where chaos ensues and continues on for longer than a few days/weeks or so.

You know SHTF? lol

Never. You can never have enough. You can never be too rich, nor too thin, nor have too many guns nor too much ammo.
