hmmm . . . . .

This is a tough one but here goes 1) Ted Yost custom scout rifle 7mm/08
2) Hamilton Bowen full house custom Ruger Bisley with interchangeable cylinders in .44 magnum and .44 Russian 3) A Beretta custom grade over and under 12ga backbored and ported with ejectors.

I failed to mention earlier:

a Holland and Holland Royal Double rifle in .700 Nitro express. It's an extremely beautiful firearm that costs as much as an Aston Martin. Naturally it would only be fired next to someone who could put my shoulder back in socket.

Price be damned? A full-auto AK-47, M4, and MP5. And a semi full of ammo and magazines. Hey,how 'bout a FAL while we're at it.

Then I'd figure out which high-end 1911's I wanted. I haven't given it much thought since it's not likely I'll get one anytime soon.

I have traded or sold off several of my guns in the past, but the only ones I wish I could get back are my HK 91 and 93 :banghead: I just wish I could get those back.

Well if it has to be a firearm I sure wouldn't mine an authentic WWII Thompson with all the accessories. If it merely has to be firearm related I
might consider a toy designed to make the night much more friendly for me and not so friendly for those who would use darkness or camo as cover....thermal vision. NV scopes are fun and I have a couple of mid range GenII that work OK but Thermal works day and night would sure be a neat extra to have. Unfortunately thermal makes normal NV equipment look reasonably in price right now.

Assuming realistic purchases.

Rifle - Cooper Custom in .22 LR.

Shotgun - Beretta over and under. 12 gauge.

Pistol - Ed Brown Kobra Carry. .45

If we allow a little more fantasy into the equation.

Rifle - MP5SD, available yes but very expensive and lots of paperwork.

Shotgun - Spas 12. Crappy shotgun from a shooter point of view but ohh so cool.

Pistol - Korth Revolver, just cuz. Is it better then a good Smith, probably not but I won't know until I try and unless I win the lottery I ain't trying.

I don't have a very pricy list. Still, I can't just run out and pick the three out and take them home, so, here is my list.
A good shooter M1 Garand
Colt Python, 4"
An O/U in 20 ga. I've found I like sporting clays, so a good shotgun would be nice.
Mark.

Just got lucky and now broke

Walked over to my favorite sporting goods store to find a newly delivered Cooper Model 52 long awaited long action Cooper . They had ordered this rifle 2 years ago. Serial and caliber were matching and a beautiful french walnut stock. Their test target had three shots through 1 hole at 50 yds. Had to have it!!! Now broke butvery happy. Think this is one of first delivered in this part of country? Can't wait to sight in on the bench. Mounted a 3 x 9 42MM Kahles. Their are higher priced iron out there, but this will do for me.

Handgun: Already have what I want (S&W M65, 3").

Rifle: Marlin 336 in .30-30.

Shotgun: Stoeger coach gun in 20 gauge. My 870 express is all I need and most of what I want, but for some reason I am still hankering for one of these.

WW2 military vintage Thompson with stick magazine. I dunno the maker or model number, but I want one just like Saunders carried in "Combat".
and not the rubber or wooden prop kind.

hang the expense

of course after 922(o) goes away

mkii sten

7mm/8mm Lewis Gun (ie French Aerial gun) or 30.06

M1917 Browning

I'm a real glutton for ugly puppies
A Sho-Sho (Chauchault? in 8mm Ballen N)

That was a 1928A1 Thompson with the 30 round mag. The one Saunders had (the magazine, that is) was the special "magically never-empty" magazine only available to hollywood TV and movie producers.

The M1. I got about half the parts and still working on getting the rest. I hate those foriegn rip-offs. Trying to find a decent barrel, if anyone knows of one let me know.

Rifle- civilian version of the XM8, then maybe a Class III trigger group
Shotgun- A civilian version of the AA-12, then maybe get a trigger group
Pistol- XD .45

Handgun: A LNIB S&W Model 27 with a 5" barrel and all the original accessories.

Rifle: An early Lancaster-style flintlock long rifle made as authentically as possible, with the best curly maple stock available, swamped barrel, .50 or .54 caliber.

Shotgun: An M-1857 12 pounder Gun-Howitzer ("Napolean"). Hey, it's a smoothbore and loaded with canister, it's a "shotgun."

Rifle: AR15/M4 Roc Custom (Fancy talk for: I'm picky and I want my AR15 a certain way!^^)

Handgun: S&W 686 .357 Magnum

Shotgun: Saiga 12 Gauge or 20 Gauge... whichever strikes my fancy at the time. ^^
