On an impulse I bought a GP 100 Wiley Clapp and while so many other ppl seem to love it I have quickly found it is not for me. But sadly I am stuck with it for the timing being I would love to hear of other ppls experience with this revolver. Maybe its just me but it shoots low about 6" at 25 yrd which is my normal practice range. And i would give anything for a gp 100 4" with adj sights

You're not stuck at all. It's a desirable gun and I'm sure you could easily find a buyer.

What weight ammo are you shooting? The lighter the ammo, the lower it will hit. Heavier ammo tends to hit higher on the target.

I bought one a while back and came to the same conclusion. Luckily, I never fired it and was easily able to sell it. I guess I just wasn't crazy about the "brushed" stainless finish on it.

6 @25yds" in any direction is unacceptable. My M64/3" and a friend's M65/4" are dead on from close in to 50+ yards, regardless of ammunition. But, they are crappy S&Ws according to some. :)

Myself, I felt my Wiley Clapp looked better than it shot. It may have had some timing issues as well, seemed rather spitty. Held its value well when I traded it for a nice 6" GP100 blue gun.

Man, Im really glad you said something because Ive been wanting one of these since they came out. But 6" low at 25yards? No Sir! I'll have to find something with adjustavle sights as well. I wonder what sight cut that is and if you could swap out the rear for a similar but adjustable version. That would be something to look into.
