I just recieved some guns from my grandpa's gun collection that are going to go on display, but I don't know much about them and can't find much information.

The revolver he gave me is a H&R Double Action .32 Model 1905.

Does anyone know where I can go to look up information on this gun?

See if your local library has the latest edition of The Standard Catalog of Firearms by Ned Schwing.

If it doesn't then it should. It's agreat reference book updated yearly.

The Standard Catalog of Firearms by Ned Schwing, mentioned by Blues Bear is a good one. If your library does not have it, it can be frequently found at Books A Million or other bookstores. An inexpensive way of finding out what you have is to go to Gun Broker or Auction Arms. Search H&R or Harrington and Richardson, and compare pictures.

FWIW, your H&R was an economically priced revolver of the time. They sell for around $100-125 nowadays, as long as the finish is decent and the grips are unbroken. A very few obscure H&R revolvers will bring $250-300 if you find a collector who has to have that very one. Such an occurance is unusual.
