Kudos and props for the folks at Lee Precision. About a week ago, I busted the decapping pin on my 7.7 Jap sizer. I sent it to Lee...after I had stripped out the decapping pin clamp when I removed it. I sent it to them, and asked them to send me the bill for the parts and I would gladly pay for them.

Today, I received a brand new decapping pin assembly with pin clamp free of charge.

That's what I like to hear. - companies taking care of there customers.
It always seems to me the that when you're honest, and admit is was your mistake, these companies are very apt to help you out.

It's the folks who try to BS them, and pretend that they did nothing wrong who get shafted.

*I ordered a set of hardwood grips wrong recently, and told the guy - flatout - that it was my fault that the grips came in wrong. All they did was ask me to cover the shipping and they remade them free of charge.

You ain't kiddin'. It's his honesty that got him taken care of - like you said real men admit their mistakes and are usually rewarded.

People never want accept responsibility fior their own mistakes and are willing to legally "steal" whenever possible:

We recently got in a car accident caused by a young lady with no insurance. I could've run this girl into the ground financially because she was driving illegally, and my fiance got pretty banged up, but nothing serious.

The girl never lied, admitted she had no insurance, looked horrifed, and genuinely seemed remorseful. We let her deal with the DA and the charges the state brought against her as punishment enough, and we never went after her for money: we had coverage that took care of it through our car insurance.

A few days later, wouldn't you know, the insurace company calls and gives me and fiance about $1,000 each to compensate us for the pain and suffering AND paid the medical bills. We never asked for a dime, and look at what happens.

People seem to fail to understand how karma works.

Then there is the ol' adage..."No good dead goes unpunished" ...I was raised with a set of values and to be responsible as to where I put my damned feet. I have been rewarded many times for my integrety and also been slapped in the face a few times for honesty...I will maintain my integrety...and honesty
I have been using Lee products for quite some time and they have answered all my stupid questions promptly and repaired or replaced my equipment for the last 20 years. Cheap??? I would have to look at that a little closer...As I have several thousand dollars invested in Lee to date. Glad to hear that M-Rex was given good treatment by Lee.

I agree wholeheartedly. I sooner get punished for doing something I know is right than for doing something I know is wrong.

Speaking of Lee, I really need a set of lee Collet dies in .22-250 for my new rifle...

Lee does great by their customers! I bought a Lee case length cutter guide that turned out to be just a little long--it wouldn't allow over-length cases to be trimmed.

Went after it myself with a diamond hone--sure enough, I trimmed off too much; now the guide allows the cases to be trimmed too short.

So half the problem was of my creation.

Called Lee. They are currently sending me a new cutter guide. No charge. Thank You Lee!!

It is nice to see good stories once in a while. About 6 months ago I broke that little metal part that pivots around on my Lee Autoprime. I wrote them a letter about it and they sent me a new part, no questions asked.

With the exceptions of 2 RCBS scales and a Hornaday bushing powder measure everything else I have is made by Lee and has been used hard. Lot of my friends have run my loading tools down but I'm darned well satisfied with them.

My Lee Factory Crimp Die was not quite polished enough, and began roughing cases up after about 2000 rounds. I contacted Lee, and they sent me a correctly polished sizing insert, no charge. That is awesome.

Armoredman, nice link there at the bottom of your page, found a dear friend listed there, who gave his life so others could live. Happened in 1997, the killer still hasn't gone to trial.
