moosehunt, look at the links. You can snap many many many pics per night - hundreds if you want it to and there's enough activity - it goes off with every movement.
You can set them to take 1, 2, 3, or more pics in rapid succession (or even a video clip) per movement event encountered. You then set them to then re-set & wait, and not start to take any more pics until it sees NEW movement, with the lag time in between sets of pics being set by you, at whatever you want - 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 1 hour, anything (so that you don't use up your disk space with 400 pics of Mr. Squirrel, Mr. Raccoon, Mr. Dove, & Mr. Crow).
These ain't your grandpappy's cameras.
I would call Northern NV, 10 miles from the nearest ("relatively big") city pretty darned rural, but our definitions may vary.
I am very glad to know that 60s is young, too, since I'm getting there before too long! I thought maybe you were a tweener or teen.
Maybe since you hang these cams on trees, and there's no TREES in Nevada, they don't sell these there!
