I had a very pleasant surprise this weekend. I own wooded land, part of which I have set up as a shooting range. I have a 50 yard rifle range with table, and a 25 yard pistol range. I intended to take my 22 rifle out and get the scope zeroed in this weekend.
My wife asked me Saturday Night what I was planning on doing Sunday; so I told her I was going shooting. She said that she would like to come along, and insisted I bring "her gun." "Her gun" is a .22 revolver I inherited from my late father. Less than a month ago, she was an anti. What have I done?
We got out there Sunday, and put about 200 rounds through the revolver; it takes me about 50 to get the rifle zeroed in; then she decided she likes the rifle too. Now I'm supposed to be buying her guns just like these, since I won't let her keep ones that belonged to my father, and she understands that.
I tried to tell her that I would buy her two if I could buy myself two as well; and then she pulled out the trump card: "You're already so far ahead of me, you owe me about 13 guns!"
