Sure there have been lots of great movies out there, and lots of great movie one liners at that. However, there are a few that always come to mind. Of course, they involve firearms.

However, there is one particular one liner that always makes me smile. I don't remember the exact name of the movie, I don't even recall seeing the entire thing. However, that phrase will forever remain in my mind as the classic firearms one liner.

The premise is this. Couple of bad dudes are robbing or hijacking a train, or something of that nature. They have shotguns with them among other things.

Would be civilian hero comes up to the bad dudes and stoically proclaims,

"Stand back! I know karate!"

The bad dude just smirks a slight smile and slyly replies,

"Oh yeah? I know Remington!" <BOOM!!!!>

End of would-be hero!

That one is great! :D

Go ahead; feel free to share your favorites!

From the British TV series "Blake's Seven"

Avon, who served as the protagonist for the last two seasons, defends himself against (that is, shoots) an ultimate feminist.
As she crumples to the floor, she mutters, "Men, always seeing violence as the answer!"

Avon watches her fall and then comments, "Then you shouldn't ask the question."

In Tremors 3, when Burt hands the rifle to the girl (forget her name), "Don't worry, it's not going to bite you."

Pretty much anything with Burt in Tremors is good.

(After taking out about 250 screamers with a quad AA turret) "Any questions?" :D

Robert Deniro in "Ronin"

To an ex-KGB agent he just caught with his gaurd down.....
" Your great in the locker room pal....but when you put your spikes on, your weak. "

From The Outlaw Josy Wales :
BG-"A man's got to make a living somehow."
Josey-"Dyin ain't much of a living boy."
Or something like that. It's close enough.

Wether it is true or not, its still cool: Dirty Harry (one of them): This is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world. It can blow your head clean off. I bet youre asking yourself, "Did he fire 5 shots or 6?" Well to tell you the truth, I lost count in all the excitement. What you have to ask yourself is "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do you punk!?

And from They Live: I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick a$$. And I am all out of bubblegum!

"RRRyan, shome thingsh in here don't react well to bulletsh."..."RRRyan, shome thingsh in here dont react well to bulletsh...yeah, like me..."(boom boom boom)"I gotta be careful what I shoot at???"

Some of my favs^:D

Also from " The Outlaw Josey Wales"

When asked why he wasn't going to bury a couple of BG's he'd just killed.
" Buzzards gotta eat, same as worms. "

From "Tombstone".....

Wyatt Earp (Kurt Russel)
"Are you gonna strip that smoke wagon, or just stand there and bleed?"

Doc Holiday (Val Kilmer)
"I'm your Huckleberry"

From "Open Range".........

Charlie Waite (Kevin Costner)
"Men are going to get killed here today Sue and I'm going to kill them"

From Unforgiven

Sherriff Little Bill (Gene Hackman): You just shot an unarmed man!

William Munny (Clint Eastwood): He shoulda armed himself.

Final sceen from Quiggley Down Under.
Alan Rickman lay dying with look of dissbelief :what:
Quiggley "Said I didn't have much use for a pistol, never said I didn't know how to use one!"

"Oh, S***." The interogator in Equilibrium right after the main character's polygraph needles all go to zero, two seconds before the *** whupping begins.

Kharn

"Bad tv is to blame for this."
"Is it dead?"
-Boondock Saints

"This is my rifle this is my gun. This is for fighting this is for fun."
-Full Metal Jacket

"What makes them different from us?/Because we live here!"
-Red Dawn

"Nothing wrong with shooting as long as the right people get shot"
Harold Callahan, SFPD Inspector

Timeless words to live by!

Ronin,
"Ever kill anybody?"
"I hurt somebody's feelings once."

Army Of Darkness
"Good......Bad......I'm the one with the gun."

".32 ACP, like a brick through a plate glass window." Of course I think they were talking about throwing the whole gun. :D

FMJ,
"How can you shoot woman and children?"

"I don't lead em' as much."

"If they run they are VC, if they don't run they are well disciplined VC."

Was watching some cheesy SCI-FI movie called ICE last night and there is a scene where two woman are scavanging and both have MP5s. One is a doctor and one is a lawyer. Well the doctor is talking about how she could never take a life and the lawyer is scared of the gun etc.

Well the men folk get pinned down by a guy on a roof. The two chick exit onto a roof just above our bad guy. The doctor chick cocks the MP5 and let's loose blowing the guy away. She says....

"I just killed a man...I just killed him." while trembling.

The lawyer chick who is afraid of the gun say.

"Clear cut case of self defense, I handle these all the time." Without batting an eye. I just thought the deadpan delivery was funny.

Chris

Basically anything from this movie, but especially:

"A gun is a tool, Marion, no better or no worse than any other tool, an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that."
