Ground blind selection?

I am looking for a ground blind for deer and turkey, both archery and firearms. I will be woods hunting here in Missouri and would like a blind big enough for two folks. I am a large specimen (6'5", 300lbs.) and because of physical limitations I will need sit for long periods. What say you? Thanks...

I have the Primos double bull darkhorse. I really like it. I have had deer and turkey as close as a few feet away. I just use a collapsable lawn chair in mine. Hope this helps!

i am only about 20 pounds lighter than you are and the same height and i use am ameristep intimidator blind. while not as large as some of the double bulls its less than half the price! myself and my wife have hunted easily from it. easy to set up and take down. i think mine weighs like 20-25 pounds.

as for chairs the absolute best chair i have found for us yeti is the "king Kong chair" by ALPS. super roomy but portable and holds around 500 lbs i think. i can sit in this thing forever.

I recently saw Ghost Blinds. Basically they use a mirrored font and I am impressed with them. I think you would need one for each person.

I just bought a Hunter's Specialties Boiler Room ground blind. So far I'm happy with it. It has shoot through screen windows that even work well with my bow. Doesn't seem to slow the arrow down and doesn't change the trajectory even if shooting from an angle.

It's big enough for two people. I use cheap walmart plastic deck chairs inside it.

The only downside is I think they called it the Boiler Room because of how hot it gets but I think I'm going to have that with any blind in Southwest Florida.

Gary O--I very much like the Ameristep Doghouse blind. Extremely quick & easy to set up and take down; nice and roomy inside; not too expensive--What's not to like? I've sat with a bud in a Doghouse and it is doable, albeit we had to watch out for each others' elbows.

Be sure to get the Doghouse WITH the shadow-block or whatever they call it, otherwise if you are backlighted your silhouette can easily be seen through the blind. This would be true, I guess, of any blind you might buy.

There is a double-sized Doghouse that is larger and pricier, comes with a zip-in floor and zip-in plastic windows, too--heck, you could almost camp in the thing, and 2 people wouldn't get in each others' way at all. I have a bud who has one specifically so he can hunt right beside his 11 yo daughter.

+1. I have three of them. I set them up, and leave them, at different locactions. Take them all down at the end of the hunting season.

I bought a double bull blind a couple of years ago and the blind is very roomy. There enough room in it for two adult hunters; it sets up very easy. The double bull has the best camo pattern that I've seen yet. The only drawback that I've had with it is that the supporting rods have broken on me. You can get "free" replacements from the company and they are made from different material and work much better.
