Guess I'm getting old LOL

Getting older is definitely different than the younger days. I use to live for the colder weather and spent a lot of time in the mountains. The colder it was the better for hunting whitetail in Texas. Now days a cool morning is much better than a cold morning thanks to the older age and blood thinners. I can't wait for the warm days to return just give us some rain. I have a lot of trees to cut from last years drought...

The ice in Arlington was terrible!!!

My daughter had surgery in Carrollton Tuesday, so I was driving back and forth from McKinney to Carrollton every day that week. The back roads were in better shape than the tollway for a day or two.

Yesterday, I found out that a close friend that I grew up with (actually we didn't grow up) had passed on.

Went down to my workshop to size amd depirme. Immediately got a stuck case in my Redding die....should have known better than to do this when I was preoccpied.

I finally have to admit that my old bones can't take it like they used to. In the past when it was going to be extremely cold outside I would put firearms and ammo that I wanted to test in my jeep in the evening and test the next day. This time I chose to sleep in and stay inside. Those tests can wait until it gets a bit more hospitable out there. Not -12*F with a 30 MPH wind! Global warming my foot!!! Guess I'll make a nice moose meat stew to pass the time. Rant over.
You're a much tougher man than me. Me and my brother in law wimped out when it was 32 but is was a little windy.....
Sincerely yours
