What adjectives should we use?

I wrote just last night about "losing my love for Brand X but my enthusiasm for Brand Y is increasing" ( I did use the actual brand/model on that post.)

Does that mean I am may not be civil to my fellow forum members? Should i have said "I am losing my LIKE for Brand X"?

This is offered in the spirit of good fun and a study in semantics. Note: I am not "anti-semantic".
