His article is badly written and but shows the type of thinking out there in the mainstream media.

Interesting that he doesn't so much argue that guns are bad, but that gun people are just too clumsy/incompetent/redneck/mean to be trusted with them.

Think maybe he's projecting his own inadequacies and insecurities onto everyone else so he won't feel like quite the bumbling wuss his picture portrays?
