Does anyone use this product for their hunting gear or gun accessories?

“JIG-A-LOO is an invisible all-around lubricant and water repellent with hundreds of practical uses around the home, office, garage, garden, boat or campground, among many other places. A favorite product in Canada for residential, industrial and commercial uses since 1958, JIG-A-LOO is ideal for wood, metal, leather, most plastics and a number of other surfaces, helping just about anything operate and slide better. Its exceptional water repellent, a rust and freeze inhibitor and will not drip or stain. Unlike traditional lubricants, JIG-A-LOO contains no oil, grease, wax or detergent.

It is the world’s first and only lubripellent – it stops squeaks, un-sticks just about anything and protects against the elements. Unlike other spray lubricants, JIG-A-LOO goes on dry and doesn’t stain or smell. Because it’s silicone-based, it contains no oil, grease, wax or detergent – so it’s perfect for wood, metal, leather, fabric, and most plastics. JIG-A-LOO is also an exceptional freeze inhibitor and rust preventer.”

Uses:
* Spray Jig-A-Loo on the zipper of the Gun case
* Spray Jig-A-Loo on the gun case to repel water and the elements.
* Water-repellent and all-weather protection for the hunting boots, that way there won't be 10 pound of mud sticking to them- As one hunter put it: “and obviously, as you sit in that damp blind waiting for deer or ducks, don't forget to spray those boots to stay dry”
* On rainy days, spray Jig-a-Loo on metal parts to repel water
* Spray on the magazine clip (for easy entry)
* Spray on the breach bloc, breach bloc slide, breach block cover (to improve sliding mechanism on semi-automatics)
* Spray on scope adjustments or sighting adjuster
* Spray on ammo belt to reduce noise
* In semi-automatic guns or rifles, use Jig-a-Loo to lubricate the moving parts
* Before storing your arms, spray Jig-a-Loo on metal to protect against humidity

Notice, do not to spray the product on the stock, forend and end butt. It will make the gun slippery to handle and shoulder.”

Jig-A-Loo is a silicone-based lubricant that can be used to lube just about anything that you might lube with WD-40.

From their site, just as I suspected
