I will be getting a few used guns for Christmas  I was wondering if there was a place online I could download/ view the manuals for them for free.
Thank you all in advance and have a safe and happy holiday

check the manufactures web site. I've found more than a few older gun manuals on the sites, otherwise, do as the guys above suggest.

Several years ago, I bought a used SW 5906 and went to the SW website and they sent me a hard copy for free. I'm not sure if other companies will do the same.

What I sometimes do when I get a new(to me) used gun is do a google search or youtube search for [gun name] {model xxx} disassembly if you just want the basic takedown/field strip.

google is your friend. :D
Depending upon the vintage of the item, of course, go to the manufacturer's website and you'll likely not be dissappointed. Aside from that, pretty much all information is public information in this day and age. The sum of all human knowledge is at your fingertips.

+1 for "stevespages" - that site rocks!

Also contains manuals for reloading presses and scopes, etc.
jbs/

Yup. stevespages had all the manuals I was missing. Granted, some of my guns don't have the new built in locks/safety features but for the most part the manuals are close enough to be of use.

If you search for a specific manual for a gun on Google,
add .pdf after the model number and you get PDF manuals.
Then you can view or download them. That actually works
for pdf copies of most books, too.
