It was a good gun Christmas at my house this year. :)
I got a nice pancake holster for my 1911, magpul stock and foregrip for my AR, and an MP-5K (the rare, half power variant in 4.5mm).

My parents...I mean, uhhh...Santa gave me a Glock 21 and 150 rounds of ammo for it. Since my dad and brother aren't members I'll share their Christmas goodies as well: My dad bought himself a Henry U.S. Survival .22, and my brother got a Century Draco AK pistol. A good gunny Christmas all around!

I gave future wife a Winchester model 190 that I picked up. Dad got a deer and field Mossberg 20ga. I got a gift card for a outdoors store called Mahoney's (place grew up from a small general store) which I used to get a re-bluing kit.

I'm told that I am very hard to buy for because I buy what I want and can afford.

My Present to me.

The wife got me a Ruger SR9c. The Daughter got me a bottle of smell good. And Santa got me this...

Now I have a way to get the SR9c to the range where I can send the other guys gagging for the doors and have the place to myself!! :D :) :what:

HAPPY NEW YEAR YA'LL!!!
:neener:

I had plans for my cash gift i get from my parents each your to help pay for my "Christmas" gun. I had already placed a $100 deposit one month earlier as the gun i wanted (Kahr MK9) can be hard to find and has to be ordered usually.
Three weeks before Christmas i stopped back into the shop just so i could browse the inventory and see if they was even able to score my MK9.
Sure enough they pulled it out and had it on the counter before i could even say Hi.

I knew right then i wasn't walking out the door without that gun, And luckily i brought an XD SC .40 in my trunk as i knew id like to find something to trade it in on.
So after emptying my bank account and trading in the XD i became the owner of my Christmas gun 3 weeks early.

This did pose a problem, As now when i did get my holiday cash gift id have no gun to buy. Im rather picky and wont buy just any gun and i must have a need and be able to rationalize why i need that gun.
As it stood i couldn't.

So i ended up buy accessories and ammo and payed for a few indoor range trips with my Christmas cash.
Things i bought with the money:
Im now waiting on my wood grips for my MK9.
Hand made pewter inserts for my 1911 grips.
Polymer base pad for my MK9 6 round mag.
Narrow Fushion grip screws for my 1911 along with a hand made set of grips i stole on ebay for $15 shipped.

And as a true holiday miracle i had my 1911 i fully rebuilt with high end parts all hand fit by me and i done a bevel/melt job on and it had been at the refinishers for 7 weeks and it came by Fedex on Christmas Eve.

Over all it was a good gun Christmas :)

I purchased a Ruger LCR .357 for myself a couple of days before Christmas.

But I must of been really good cause I also got myself a Glock 29 today.

Markus, what flavor LCR did you get? .38 or .357?

I have found that the front Black blade sight was terrible, I just put a Hi-Viz sight on it Friday. BIG difference. I could not decide between the Hi-Viz and a night sight, so went with the cheapest first.

The LCR shoot really nice. You will like it.

Always wanted a pair of electronic earmuffs. This was the year.

We do have an eleven year old nephew to buy for. We got him a range case, and stocked it with ear and eye protection, cleaning supplies, ammo, lint free rags, some sticky targets, a trigger lock, and a small safety booklet. His eyes lit up when he saw all the neat stuff. I didn't tell him it all a prayer for safety. He's taking pride in that too.

Wifey, er um I mean Santa, was good to me, I got a nice desantis leather holster for my Taurus 66 .357, and the doozie a brand new (eae serial number) S&W bodyguard 380, love them both, as well as a new tool set.

It's ok she got hers too, a charter arms pink lady in .38

:)

Well, I got me this baby (well, the Aimpoint is only temporary, until the 30 moa scope mount for S&B PMII arrives. But I do like the look as it is now. :)

Santa also brought back a piece of our family hardware, the baby on the left. She is accurate, at 10 meters it kept the hits within inch and a half, when I was up to it.

For once instead of a blood and mud military rifle I got something pretty. Its sitting in the safe in between my Mosin and M1 Carbine so its quite out of place.:D
