Gun Purchase, Present for Wife, Legal ???

I went to the gun show yesterday, and purchased KelTec P32, ammo, pocket holster, and extra magazine. I handed it to my wife an hour later

No, it was not a straw purchase. It's just sad how us law abiding folks have to worry about nonsense like that. Of course she's not a prohibited person... she just got her CWP 4 days ago!!!

Anyways, she likes the gun, and I'm comforted knowing she has the means to protect herself when I'm not around.

Did I mention she already wants another gun

Eric, you should have talked to my poor husband. The tales he could tell about that last sentence in OUR house....

Let's just say that at this point the guns that we own that are "mine" do, I believe, outnumber the guns that we own that are "his".

I'll pay with a debit card from our joint bank account.

It's a moot point now since the transaction's done, but a bank check with her name and address on it would also work to establish residency, as would a vehicle registration or even her CHL provided her name and address are on it.

Don't even get me started on NFA laws and husband/wife relationships. DH and I both have NFA toys from before our marriage, and it would be nice if he could take my stuff to the range without me there, and vice versa.
