gun purchaser

Recently, while at my local range (they are also a firearms seller), i saw a young man purchase a used NAA .380..... the dealer was explaining to the kid that he'd have to wait thirty days after the last purchase. I assumed he'd recently purchased a handgun and by Calif law could not buy another within 30 days. I had a 'gut feeling' that the kid was a gang banger, but without a rap sheet he is as qualified as i am to buy a gun........ gave me an uneasy feeling. Any comments?

You're right: unless he's disqualified by law for some reason, he's as entitled to buy a gun as you are. I've shared the same concern, seeing some folks buying guns whose behavior and clothing screamed "Gangbanger!" at me - but like you, I couldn't do anything about it.

I also have to remember the old adage about not judging a book by its cover. Heaven knows, with the disastrous fashion industry helping our young folks look like gangbangers all the time, it's hard to judge!

Only the select few are allowed to keep and bear arms in most countries.

And even with a rap sheet, he would still be able to buy a gun. All the gun control in the world can never prevent that.
