Gun security

I am so lucky that my in-laws are great people. My father-in-law is my best shooting buddy.

Never trust a drug addict, or recovering drug addict. About 20 years ago one of my recovering drug addict ex-friends stole my truck and sold my Remington 1100 that was behind the seat since I used it for shooting clays that day and forgot to take it inside and lock it up. I got my truck back, but the shot gun is gone forever. The dude did some other really bad stuff right after that and went to jail. Never saw him again.

Lock everything up tight as Fort Knox! Firearms make great pawns for drugs.

Make sure you buy a good gun safe. Someone stealing your guns really, really, really sucks.

Also, don’t leave out fire. Get a good gun safe with the best fire protection you can get.

Home owners insurance, or renters insurance does not cover much and getting more coverage is difficult. I know you can get more gun insurance and also some from the NRA, but try collecting when you’re in need. Others may have great success, but I haven’t.

I think if most of use count how much it will cost to replace each of our guns we will find that the price of a high quality gun safe is small in comparison.

Enough ranting, Check out liberty safes.
