Gun-shops in Munich, Germany

Hello! At the end of the month I will be visiting to Munich on a business trip. It will be very nice for me to visit some gun shops there. So, my request is: can you please provide me with addresses of some well-supplied shops, preferably in the area of the BAUMA fair? Thank you in advance!

Please tell me that there is some other shop than Frankonia... My main interest is for handguns and the guys at Frankonia... Well they just don't get it.

I have been in Franconia in Berlin and it was different. More hunting rifles and pellet guns.


Honestly there is so much to see in Munich, why would you want to go to a gun shop? I think my local guns shops are much more interesting than gun shops in Germany.

Bavaria has a very long hunting tradition and there are many gun shops which are pretty much hunting outfitters, although I know there are general firearms retailers in N. Germany. I was lucky to have a local big game hunter take me to his favorite shop in Munich, beautiful rifles and shotguns out of my price range...

Spyder1911, I did suspect that Munchen is a beautiful city... But since I was 15 years old handuns and knives became a great passion of mine, a way of life, so... And please, do not forget that I live in Bulgaria - situation here is a little bit different compared to the US.

German gun laws are pretty restrictive, especially regarding pistols. Couldn't tell you about gun shops in Muenchen, but I never saw any in Stuttgart or Karlsruhe in the (almost) 8 yrs I lived there.

That said, while you're in Muenchen, be sure to skip the Hofbrauhaus & visit the Augustiner Brauerei. Incredible beer & a GREAT restaurant.
