I hope this is a good place on THR to ask this question, especially since I am primarily interested in handguns:
Most people know about gunblast.com, and that site has its strengths and weaknesses. What other similar websites are there which do pretty much the same thing, preferably better, and with more testing?

nutnfancy, sootch00, hickok45, gunwebsites, thekentuckygunco, and theyankeemarshal are some that I subscribe to.

You can also do a YouTube search of the handgun you're interested in and find lots of reviews on a specific gun.

Perhaps I made a small error by not calling them gunBlast.com, rather than gunblast.com (big difference, eh?).
Thank you, F-111 for the link to thetruthaboutguns. It looks quite good, not pulling (some) punches.
I don't ignore video reviews, but some of them are quite tedious and long-winded, and are generally very favorable about what is being reviewed.
Anybody else want to suggest some more sites?

theboxotruth.com is formatted as a photo/written review style website, but I really like it. It's a good ol' boy testing various weapons/ammo/target media for fun and giggles, but It's fun to dig through IMHO.

brassfetcher.com used to be great until they started using that weird .ppsx (or is it .pptx?) format for all of their material. Everything is largely inaccessible to me now since I really have no desire to go bouncing all over the interwebs in search of some solution that'll let me run some obscure format.

It's almost as if they want no one to be able to view the 'site.

I miss that 'site.

Powerpoint is obscure now?

My favorite for written reviews is the truth about guns.

At the bottom of the list would be Chuck Hawks, one only needs to read his verbiage about Smith & Wesson to gain an insight of his personal opinions.

I never said anything like that.

I have the most recent version of Powerpoint and whatever format they are using is not compatible with anything that I have in the way of PowerPoint.

Hawks is about as uninformed and out-of-date as anyone I can recollect.

His 'site should be avoided by anyone seeking to educate themselves correctly about self-defense and firearms in general.

boxotruth.com

I question any magazine or site that takes money from the people they are supposed to be 'impartially' reviewing.

For side by side comparison I use genitron.com. It allows you to choose up to 3 guns to look at side by side along with a rating system for various aspects including concealability.
