Guns For Fun at Range

Ive seen reviews indicating its extremely loud and blasty, but recoil isn't too bad. Muzzle energy is only in the 120 lb/ft range, though.

They make a 7.63x39 version as well. Its reported to be incredibly painful to shoot.
Their double-barrelled 9mm looks interesting, but its way too expensive for what is essentially a DA derringer.

Man that sounds like ZERO fun. Different strokes I guess…

Stay safe.

@aaaaa guns like that are entertaining but a wrong wrong move or many punishing firings can damage your wrist for life. Please be careful when firing this if you do buy it.

I am now 62. I can still shoot my handguns, but some guns cause me pain that lasts for days and pain also means damage. My days of shooting big magnum revolvers and snappy short gripped little .380’s and 9mm’s are over. I can still shoot my 9mm’s, 357’s and .45 Colts, but in full sized guns.

Just be careful if you do buy one of those mini boomers. Keep your wrist in line with your forearm bones when firing. I still think the start of my demise was firing a Mossberg 500 12ga with a pistol grip one-handed and not having my hand in line with my forearm. The thumb joint at my wrist took all the recoil. That was a “hold my beer and watch this” moment, but no beer was involved.

The most fun guns are the most accurate. That means it's either my 22 Victory or my air pistol. I might try shooting a hole with a HBWC with my Blackhawk, then moving the target closer, and shooting the other two through the hole. The guns are capable, even if I'm not.

I wonder if the 5.56 is still effective on armor out of this pistol.

You can roll your own without fear of a squib load. Anyone tried to load this round with BP instead of smokeless?

Oh that gun is not made for 5.56, so not a true AR pistol. Could go boom the wrong direction.

Some of my "fun guns" that regularly make trips to the range with me:

1) Beretta Model 70S-.22LR
2) S&W Model 34-.22LR
3) Ruger Mk.II-.22LR
4) Colt Mustang-.380 ACP
5) Browning Hi-Power-9mm.
6) Colt Combat Commander-.45 ACP
7) Ruger Vaquero-.45 Colt

All are reliable, accurate and just plain old fun to shoot!
