Guns that you wish they would build

The pulse rifle from Aliens....oh...you mean a real gun? Well, how about a 22 conversion kit for the SA XD. Come on guys, it has been years since that gun came out.....

I'd like to see a 1911 with a finish like Glock's Tennifer finish. Actually I'd like that in both a full size 5" steel frame government model and a 4 1/4" commander model with an aluminum or titanium frame.

A mini-1911 in 9x19mm, along the lines of the Colt .380 Government Model and Mustang, would be nice too. And a .22 L.R. 1911 conversion kit that locks the slide back after the last round is fired.

In long guns, I'd like to see someone make a short action M98 Mauser designed around the .308 cartridge with a Model 70 style safety. I'd also like to see a Remington 870 with a tang stafety (and no retarded internal lock).

Unoriginal, and pretty much single-minded:

Sig 220, HK USP, and CZ in 10mm.

A 10mm carbine useful for home defense for less than $500.

Single stack Glock .45 with competition slide, no finger grooves and accessory rail. Actually, I'd take any Glock with the generation 2 grip and the generation 3 rails. More like my USP .45.

While I'm here, I'd love a Sig 232 in 9mm. I've asked so many gunsmiths if they can modify this .380 into a full 9mm but haven't found any that could. Damn shame, its a sweet little gun. The first .380 I've ever fired.

Shotgun: An American made side by side with non screw-in chokes, double triggers, 26" barrels, and under $350.

Rifle: A Ruger 10/22 with a lamenate sporter stock in a target grey finish.

Revolver: New frame size between a NAA mini and a J-frame. Offered in the following: 6 shot 22 mag, 5 shot moon clipped .25 auto, 4 shot 32mag or moon clipped .32 auto. Something with weight but small in size for true pocket carry.

Auto: How about two things. Beretta brings back the Inox Jetfire in .25 auto and Ruger makes a 5-1/2" stainless slab sided MKII in .22 mag.

Side note: Colt's and Smith's come down in price so the average family man doesn't have to save nickel's for a year just to get one.

Just my wish list......

Fully ambidextrous (I.E.: safety/decocker, slide-lock/release, magazine release on both sides of the weapon) versions of the following brands of pistol:

Beretta
SIG
Springfield 1911s
CeeZee (as in more than just the eightyfive-bee)
IMI (Jerichos, specifically)
...

I know there're more, but I cannae recall the whole list, at the moment.

Am I the only one who wants a semi-auto rifle with a bayonet lug, flash supressor, folding stock, grenade launcher, and 200 round drum chambered in .75 cal?
Just to anger Feinstein, of course.
:p
Oh yeah, and it should be sold from the back of ice cream trucks.... :neener:

The Slim Glock in 9mm - never happen.

The SW 9mm in a lightweight, maybe Sc, Centennial or Bodyguard pattern.

A quality SS really small derringer, like the little Davis guns, but not junk - in 32 ACP.

A light weight, handy copy of the Winchester low wall, in rimfire, pistol and small rifle calibers, but at or less than the price of a Ruger #1.

Alfa Dog

Caspian Arms makes a 1911 frame in Titanium for $300 and for another $70 they also have one with a light rail. Ive been saving for one myself. :)

I would also like to see an M1A with a Titanium reciever and other parts. A SOCOM the same weight as an AR!!! :D

Also i would like to see an M1 carbine in .357. the .30 and the .357 round are the same lenth just different cal. and one has rimmed case

As a Kalifornian, I would love to see a decent .223 auto-loader. Don't want to play around with a Mini-14, not feeling 100% about the KelTec offerings, so I propose..........the Browning BAR in .223!

Scale down the classic BAR sporting rifle to match the .223 cartridge, and give it the ability to accept AR-15 mags. Make it in a matte blue/oil walnut combo, load it up with a 20 round mag, and you have a little rifle that evokes the BAR of WWII fame.

Also legal for us here in Kali. Well, the 20 round mag is out unless you had those laying around, but the rest if Kali Kosher!

A Glock carbine that can be converted to/from 7.62x51/7.62x39/5.56x45/5.45x39/9mm/45acp/7.62x25/5.7x25 by just changing a barrel/bolt assembly. While I'm dreaming I would like it under $1000.

A Mini-14 with a slight stiffer barrel, and HIGH QUALITY LOW-COST STANDARD CAPACITY MAGAZINES. [20 or 30 round mags]

Remington to bring back the Nylon 66/77 series {IIRC, the 77 was the box-mag fed version}

I want a Glock in 5.7 with 20 & 30 round mags.

Maybe the marketing geeks are waiting until there is a Glock 56 so the G57 will be the 5.7.

I'll wait.

Josh

Well, I can ALMOST get what I want, but what I wish I could get is a high quality, accurate, durable semi-auto magazine fed rifle/carbine, (16 inch bbl or so), in a military pattern, with 20 round magazines, chambered in 7.62x54R, all for $500 or so....
I know Tennesee Guns imports the Romak 3 in a 16.5 inch barrel, but with 10 round mags only, and I am not 100% sure of thier durability, though I would LOVE to test one out for a while! The distributers they list don't carry them regularly, and magazines are a PITA to find....still would love one....

I'd like to see a Kahr in 10mm ... and I'm sad that Steyr has discontinued the S series (they claim its not different enough from the M to be worth building ... obviously the Austrians don't CCW 24/7...I have both an M40 and an S40 and there is a world of difference IWB 24/7)

I'd like to see Steyr do an XS series ... here's a photoshop mockup I did of an XS-A1
