Guns you regret letting get away

Oh yes. My older cousin took pity on his smaller poor relative and sold me a mint Winchester Model 12 in 12 gauge for $35. This was about 1958. He told me that if I ever sold it, I had to sell it to him for the same amount. I agreed, and I loved the gun. Along about 1962 I'm in college and hurting for money. I write and tell Dad to let him have the gun back for the $35. Never saw the gun again, and miss it to this day.

Then there's the other guns later, when I'm supposed to be smarter: a Remington 1100 like new for $300, a 10/22 for $110, a Marlin 336 for $200, new. I can't go on guys. You know the feeling, the heartache, the lonliness......
