Guns you would buy that will never be made

The only Glock I'd ever buy (and will never be made) would be in 7.62x25.

Does anyone in the "biz" notice how many wish there were modern guns chambered in this round? Anyone? Thread after thread it seems, where people cry for blowback carbines and double-stack polys in this excellent round. Word finally got out that it's pretty danged effective to throw a HP at those velocities, and stupid-easy to design caliber conversions for (provided the magwell is initially big enough)

The other perennial pieces pined for are Top-Break Magnums and Large Cartridge Pistol Carbines (10mm, 45WM, 7.62x25, 9x21, etc.)

The guns I desire will get made, just not by manufacturers...;)

45ACP 6-shot top break DA revolver
357 8-shot top break SA/DA/Auto-revolver
357 5-shot top break DAO snub revolver
10mm locking-breech modular carbine (also takes 40S&W)
7.62x25 Skorpion with locking breech ("Skorparev" :D)
9mm mag-fed revolver
Top feed, bottom eject shotgun (already built the top-feed, top-eject ;))
Single stack compact 5.7x28 "Mouse Gun That Roars" :D

I'm still a young man; I got all the time in the world...

TCB

X-FRAME in .223

If I recall, John Ross wrote about this combination being a possibility. (frame length fit and cartridge pressures)

I doubt that they would make it, but if they did I could see a lot of folks lining up to get one.

Talk about long range pistol possibilities...

The only thing I would like to see, is an Ruger LCR with a 3.25" bbl in 22lr to use as a kit gun.

Webley Fosberry semi auto revolver in 45 ACP Broom handle Mauser in 45 ACP and I'll second a Luger in 45 Auto as well. An affordable Gatling gun.

A moderately priced compact truck with a fuel efficient, torquey diesel engine.... whups, wrong forum.

I would like a Keltec RMR-30, I've been waiting for that rifle for 3 years... I've been waiting for Ruger to rip the design off and actually produce some for 2 years.

-An affordable double rifle (chambered in a dangerous game cartridge of course).

Here, Here! I would love to own a double rifle, but all the ones I can find are either too rich for my blood, or of sketchy quality. You'd think in this modern age, someone could invent an economical/reliable method for regulating the barrels and then start cranking out affordable doubles on the old CNC machine. I suppose there is probably not enough market to get anyone too excited about solving the problem though.

I'd also like:

A .22 TCM conversion for my Glocks.
A .22 WSM (based on the new 17 WSM, but with more thump)
A CZ 527 Carbine in 6.8 SPC
A 3/4 size Gunsite Scout chambered for .223, 6.8 SPC and 6.5 Grendel (must accept AR mags)

Lastly a next gen rifle that uses explosive gases from a pressurized cylinder in lieu of a gunpowder filled cases to propel its projectiles. Mark my words, its going to be the next big advance.

Let's see, I have a few ideas:

1) Browning Hi-Power in .357 Sig. A rail would be nice but not mandatory. Tweak all BHP models to have a slightly larger safety lever and a beavertail like a 1911, and lengthen the grip by 1/4".

2) HK USP with a standard 1913 rail in place of the proprietary one
2A. Said USP in .357 Sig
2B. Said USP in .400 Corbon & .40 Super

3) HK P30S in .357 sig and a Match Trigger option

4) US-made version of the HK UMP in .45, .40 & 9mm to avoid import hassle

5) Single stack HK USP Slim in 9mm & .45

6) FN SCAR in .300 AAC Blackout

7) Mini 14 in a pistol caliber (accepts Glock or USP mags)

8) Bring back an updated HK P7 and offer it in 9mm/.40/.357 Sig.

There are probably some more cool things they could make but this would be a great start.

I'd like to see them make the Savage model 99 again.
I'd like to see them make the lever action Ruger 96/44 and similar in 357.
I'd like for Mossberg to bag that monstrosity of a "tactical" lever action and make a "tactical" lever action that had aperture sights and way less rails...like none.
I'd like for Mossberg to make the 464 or whatever their lever action is in .357 and make it well. Might get my wish on that one.

Not a complet pistol, . . . . . but I would love to have a 22lr conversion slide/barrel for the Five Seven pistol.

I would love to see someone make a THIN [less than an inch wide] DA/SA pistol with as low of bore axis as possible, . . . single stack, obviously, ~7 rounds, with ~3.5" barrel.

an M1 Carbine, that looks, feels, and functions EXACTLY like an M1 Carbine and even uses M1 mags... just not called an M1 Carbine so I could legally acquire one.

7.62x25 is an epic caliber. I wish they would come out with some more guns in that caliber and more US companies might make it to bring the cost down. People are charging stupid money for the surplus stuff that used to be cheap. I've got the PPS-43C WW2 polish submachinegun (semi auto now). It's still very cool.
