Far too many to remember, he was (and still is) always buying them, then deciding he wanted something different, and selling them. Just today I was talking to him, and we both regretted selling the 2.5" Python he had for an off- duty gun before they went to Glocks. He sold it to me, I sold it to pay the rent
The ones I remember:
12 ga. 1100, bought when they were new in the early 60's. Still has it.
Rem. 572 .22 pump. I put
many rounds through that gun as a kid.
K-38 Combat Masterpiece. His duty gun when I was very young.
Colt Trooper MKIII. Replaced the K-38.
S&W M38 Bodyguard snubbie. Off duty gun.
Colt Pythons, one 4" and one 2.5" Replaced the Trooper and M38 S&W. I bought the pair of Pythons from him when his PD went to Glocks.
Ruger MkII. First gun I shot, in our basement, when I was 5.
Colt New Frontier .22. I put lots thru that one, too.
16 ga. Win M97. He sold it to my cousin. Tried to buy it back. HA!
Savage 99 in .300 Sav. Should have never sold that one.
Ruger 44 Auto Carbine.
Win. M12 riot. Still has it.
Glock 19. Off duty gun.
Glock 17. back-up to issue duty gun.
Sig 220. Duty gun as US Marshal's Deputy. I was grown by then.
Colt Commander LW. Sold to buy....
Colt Officer's ACP.
Some sort of European .380, probably an Ortgies, this was when I was very young. Off duty gun. Replaced by...
Walther PPK. Off duty gun.
Stevens 311 16 ga. Great grouse gun. I bought it from him, then sold it.
Western Field (Mossberg) 20 ga. bolt. My first duck gun.
A single shot .22 bolt with Krupp proofmarks, imported by Remington in the 20's. Was my grandpa's. My Dad, my uncle, me, and my oldest son all learned how to shoot a rifle with this one. It will be passed down.
I know there are (many) more, just can't remember them all.
