H&K thoughts

The H&K 45 is the only H&K worth owning IMO. It is the only polymer .45 that can hold this 1911 fanboys attention.

HK45? Probably the finest combat .45 made today. Comfortable, accurate, reliable, sturdy, and build quality second to NONE.

What cracks me up is that so many guys will pony up $2500+ for a Nighthawk or Wilson, and then have to send it back two to three times for "tuning" before it will shoot reliably. But these are the same guys who squawk at paying $850 for a "plastic" gun that is totally reliable right out of the box. Go figure.

While HK does seem to make decent guns, I have yet to see any test which indicate that you really get any benefit for the inflated price. At nearly double the price of most of its competitors I don't see any evidence it's twice the gun in terms of accuracy or reliability.

Buy what you like, but keep in mind that what HK really does better than other gun companies is marketing.
Uhhh, 45,000 rounds and going... http://pistol-training.com/archives/3835

Still yet to get an answer of how a pistol with a suggested retail price of around $1,000 is better than a Glock, XD, or a S&W M&P.

shoot one and you'll understand, even if you come back on here and tell everyone that your glock seemed superior.

That HK45 is one ugly gun. It makes Glocks look good!

Besides that little bit of personal opinion on aesthetics HK's are great.

Ugly and pricey but also accurate, reliable, and durable.

What will I understand? Some sort of magic this gun holds or something?
