Just got back from a visit to one of our local gunshops. The H&K USP Compact 45 just seemed to melt into my hand :D This may indeed be the next one to follow me home. I have a few Glocks, Kimbers, Springfields, and S&W...this H&K really just feels great! Unfortunately, I won't have a chance to test fire one before purchase, so I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight about this particular model. Figured I'd ask here instead of a dedicated H&K forum...

I had the EXACT same experience!

I am a Glock fanatic, but the day I held a H&K USPC .45 ACP I knew I'd have to get one eventually.

I have a Variant 1 USPC .45 ACP.

It has a very smooth double action trigger (but quite a bit heavier trigger pull then you are used to with your Glocks). The single action trigger is the opposite; very light.

I go back and forth between my USPC and my Glock 36. When I carry the USPC it's cocked and locked.

Cheers,
ChickenHawk

The USPc 45 is a great gun - total reliability, accuracy, dependability & all those other - ity's that we all look for in our guns....get it quick! ;) You won't be sorry :D

I chose mine over a Sig P220, as the HK simply pointed better. Mine's got the stainless slide. Still love it and still carry it, but only in the winter. Smaller guns get the warm weather.
