A friend of mine bids on whole lots of abandoned storage unit property. You never know what's going to be in one of those lots.

A few days ago he found , buried in a box of rags , an old Harrington & Richardson .22 revolver. I know that the value of it is quite low , but it would be nice to learn the model designation and approx year of manufacture.

Any help would be appreciated.

My grandpa has one that he bought new and carried on the semi when he hauled gasoline and diesel in the late 50s and early 60s. That gun has sentimental value, and I would love to own it. I would have zero interest in any other gun if such model. Read between the lines there... taint much punkin. Accuracy is nonexistent, it spits lead like crazy, the front sight is bent way over to accommodate the accuracy issue and get it at least barn wall accurate from inside the barn.

It’s a neat gun to have just to say you have a gun. If you already have a gun... meh.
