Had a great run in with the neighbor lady

went up to a buddies farm yesterday for a little recoil therapy. well we were out shooting and the little neighbor lady comes over to the fence which is like 25 yards to our back. she watched us for awhile then we took a magazine reload break. and she yells I Hope you all are practicing to defend us against terrorists. of course was my answer. i replied with a couteous yes maam. she then informs us that she normally does not like to associate firearms with sundays because they are a day of peace. but since it was a beautiful sunday that she wasn't working in the yard she didn't mind that we were shooting as long as we were ready to defend her against terrorists. i wanted to ask her if she would like to give it a try, but i didn't think she would be able to climb over the fence so we just went on our way.

some people just make me laugh.

If your luck runs the same as mine, it's a good thing you didn't invite the lady to shoot. She probably would have out shot you.

Humbling experience being outshot by an old lady 2 to 3 times your age! (And don't ask!)
