Lord knows there are plenty of horror stories to go around- both those who cast the wife as villain and those where the husband is the bad actor.

But generalities and broadbrushing are not a good approach to dealing with individual people. There's some stuff in this thread that could have easily been left unsaid, and thus far improved the tenor of the discourse here by its absence.

Ok, folks. It sounds like the OP is having a rough time, but that's not an excuse for a free-for-all here at THR to rail against women as a group. Let's try to behave like decent people, ok?

Thumper: I'm sorry to hear you're having such a rough time. It drives me crazy that judges can feel free to ignore relevant evidence, such as a history of psychiatric disorder. I hope things work out well for you. Have you asked your CO why he's going along with trying to ruin your life?
