It been mentioned but it is worth mentioning it again Steyr M series, it surpasses my glocks in terms of having lower felt recoil, less muzzle rise and faster followups. The steyr is a very underrated pistol IMO.

Thanks for the input everyone. Sometimes I hear terms on this board and am not always sure what they mean, hence I thought I'd ask.

Definitely the Glocks... their very low bore axis is one of their strongest attributes in my view.

XD, by comparison, has a very high bore axis. That's why I sold my XD Compact... I just couldn't come to like the high bore axis.
