No, I have not loaded much of *anything* due to work. They are killing me... :banghead: :what:

I'll have to load some .380 after this weekend though as I just got a new Beretta Pico and it's gonna get a couple hundred rounds tomorrow. At least now I'll have 2 pistols to work up in .380. :D

Off topic Brothers of the Wharf Rat but my new Pico is DOA - firing pin problem right out of the box. Gun no go *BaNg!*...won't even dent a primer and the extractor is locked up tight. My guess is the firing pin broke the end off inside the channel and locked up the extractor so bad I can't pivot it and remove the pin that holds the extractor and firing pin assy.

So back to Beretta it goes without a single shot being fired. :banghead: :cuss:

I like it fine as a BUG and a hideout, teeny tiny .380 as far as ergonomics but it's never gonna compete with the G42 which I consider to be the best .380 pistol out there and the gun to emulate or exceed.

Nope. No test cartridge shipped with this gun....I cleaned and lubed it with Breakfree CLP to get all the factory schmutz out of it and it seemed dirty enough inside the barrel to have been test shot. But it may have just been ...dirt I guess.

Nice gun. Well built and fit and finish is outstanding as are the ergos for this gun and my hand. I really like the gun as it is teeny tiny and thin and there will never be a reason not to have it with me. Goes in a pocket and weighs nothing even with a full mag. It's killin' me not to shoot it.

The Pico release seems *just* like the G42 release - huge numbers of failures and problems from the get go. Seems to be par for 21st Century new product releases where the consumer is the Beta Tester. Hopefully Beretta can get it under control as quick as Glock did with the initial G42's.
