Has anybody handled, shot, or even seen a Mk22 (22LR SCAR) yet?

Apparently it's a 22LR SCAR imitation that's all metal, weighs 7.5 lbs, and has been on the market since January of this year. Bud's has them for $470 (http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/62188).

Looks interesting, just wondered if anyone here has experience with one. Are they any good?

I'm quite interested in one of these myself. Not enough to order one online but if I come across one at a gun store I might consider buying.

I have a 16s but I wouldn't mind having one in .22 also if they prove to be decent guns.

If I read this right you get a free 522 Sig with a purchase of a 556 Sig. CDNN page 11 of the catalog. Might be worth a look or consideration.

I have one, and I like it. The stock is less than stellar, and I broke the latch that holds it open the first day I had it. I contacted the company and they sent me a new one out right away no questions asked, can't beat that. You can fire it fine with the stock folded, and in fact the flip down sights when down can only really be used with the stock folded. When you flip the sights up they are a peep rear and post front, and are decent for backup sights.

Accuracy seems to be good, and most of the FTF and FTE seem to be ammo specific. It isn't an Anshutz, and shouldn't be judged as such. It is a fun plinker loosely based on the Scar design.
