one of these????
http://www.ammoload.com/

And if so are they expensive of difficult to use or change over to different calibers. Would this machine produce ammo good enough to sell?

Thanks for any info.

Are you planning on setting up a commercial reloading company? 5000 rnds/hr is plenty for that. For personal use, on the question of expensive, I'd say it would be way too expensive for personal use. They don't list prices that I found, but I'd say that 6-10k is not outrageous for the equipment shown. I'm kind of guessing here.

When I was rangemaster for our department in the late 1970's, I loaded about 60,000 rounds per year on an AmmoLoad machine. It's a good machine, but not suited to the individual reloader. I would imagine that today's price is probably closer to $20,000, since they were around $5,000+ then.

The changeover from one caliber to another would probably cost a couple hundred dollars, since it uses more than a 3 die set for each caliber, plus the other parts, like the shell slide bar, powder bushing, etc.

The company has changed hands several times since I used the machine. At that time, it was in the back of a boat shop in Newport Beach, CA.

Hope this helps.

"...produce ammo good enough to sell?..." Yep, but you'd be looking at manufacturing licences, assorted local permits, etc, etc.
