Shooting someone is the last thing that I would do to defend my life or my family's lives but if I had to do it because I feared immediate death or grave injury to myself or another innocent person I would do so without hesitation.

Very well written and thought out. I think way too many people have become desensitized to the reality of what taking another human beings life really means. Seems like everyone has become so desensitized to death/murder that some seek it out.
