Have you already spent your tax return?

Nothing yet. Last year, my wife started a home based business as a photographer so we are going with an accountant for filing this time and it is not yet complete. But, I turned some stock options and got a nice bonus that:
1.) Upgraded her camera to a Canon EOS 5D
2.) Added to home maintenance/improvement funds
3.) Funded vacations for this year
4.) Boosted the "lost my job" fund.
5.) Last but not least, bought me a Russian capture 98K (1937 Erfurt) and a Savage Enfield.

If uncle returns some of our money, it will probably be parceled out in several categories, boost savings, a new lense, ammo - and replenish the "gunvelope". I would like to rebarrel my Garand.

(The "gunvelope" is where I accumulate a spare 20 now and then when I have it for future gun purchases)

I received my return back about a month and a half ago and it went into the down payment on my wife's Grand Cherokee.

You mean my whole $15 return? I run the ship pretty tight, no sense in giving uncle sam an interest free loan when my money can be working for me in the meanwhile.

I got a ...

New SIG P220 Carry

and a

New SIG P226 Navy :D

I jump up tax brackets next year (although another deduction will be born this year!)

What's a return?

I pay my taxes on April 15th (actually April 16th this year because 15th falls on a Sunday).

Return??!! The thieving S.O.B.’s ripped me for another 800 bucks. 22% wasn’t enough. Now it is over 23%.

My refund came back in 12 days, filed electronically, direct deposited. Some has gon into the savings, the remainder into the recreation fund (some will go to Las Vegas in May), the rest I will spend frivilously.

Tell ya what. I'll PM you my address, you mail me your gambling money.

I'll send you a fun book, a coin bucket and a t-shirt. The money you save on the plane ticket and hotel room should buy you a nice gun and ammo. :D
