BTW,
This is about the 5th or 6th time that video has been trashed about on THR. This is not cutting edge info here.

I've never understood the point of stating an opinion, and refusing to discuss the matter any further. You are entitled to believe whatever it is you want to believe, but there should really be some basis for it. Its hard to respect an opinion when one has no basis for how it was formed. Furthermore, it can easily be seen as "baiting" to throw a controversial statement like "there's no room for the hunting of big cats" and then just walking away from it. If you are going to state your opinion on a controversial subject in a public forum, the least you can do is explain your conclusion to the rest of us who obviously don't understand just where it is you are coming from. Even "I think they are pretty animals" is an opinion one can understand even if they don't necessarily agree. Its hard to understand an opinion so freely given without anything to support it

I think it's also been determined that since some of us don't visit this sight several times a day, or a week for that matter, and since new people are constantly joining, it is OK to discuss the same subject from time to time.

Sounds like you are the one trying to do the branding hq. I never mentioned the word waste. You assume a lot. Some big cats,IMO need to be taken, as man killers or livestock threats.

I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you're trying to say. When you emphasized the "eat what you kill" -principle in this context, the corollary clearly implies waste, as in not doing so. I just pointed out that eating is by far not the only way to make use of the kill. A world of difference compared to plain old deer hunt where venison is, ethically speaking, the ultimate goal. Cats aren't whitetails, you don't hunt them primarily for food. At least not for yourself.

I can see what you mean but you might not want to limit yourself to only one context you're familiar with.
