I had a friend call me about an old autoloader Belgium made .25 Mercury simi-auto his parents passed down to him. I found very little information on mercury and nothing on the Mercury .25 only found limited info on a Mercury .22lr pistol and some info on Mercury shotguns. Any one heard of this gun and know anuthing about it? I willl try to get it from him and put a photo up if you want to see it. cool little gun.

Belgium produced millions of guns for many years with about that many names--usually copies of foreign manufacturers with some notable exceptions. Happy hunting finding more info. Post some pics and maybe someone can tell you more.

The only reference I could find for the name Mercury was a manufacturer called Robar. They were listed as making revolvers, pistols, and shotguns. The handguns appear to have been primarily small caliber (.25 and .32), offerings.
