Just got this Ruger SR-22 rifle. On sale for $429. I think it a good deal? I didn't see them for sale anywhere. Manager said they had 10 of them? I wanted a plinker. I heard mixed reviews about the 25 round magazine? It came with a 10 round magazine. I also bought a 15 and 25 round magazine. Can anyone recommend a good, inexpensive red dot?
In anticipation of buying a Krag rifle--most likely an 1896 model. I won a model 1892 bayonet( dated 1895) and scabbard in a live auction. Now on to the more expensive hard part
Just got a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot and some risers for my SR22 rifle. $100 for the order. I hope that's a decent red dot. One of the less expensive dots I saw that had good ratings.

Just got over pneumonia and a 3 day stay at the hospital so I'm making up for lost time!
My local Bi-Mart had 9mm ammo for $11.97 a box (two box limit), got some ball and some JHP, just because it was almost pre-panic pricing, not 'cause I needed it ... It's simply good to see that we still have some retailers that aren't hiking prices outrageously.
Like these brushes, my LGS dosnt always have them, so i buy them when i see them. They are nylon, so they wear out fast. But 3 for $5.00, i can live with that.
Armybrat: your new takedown case will likely be a very fashionable item for "big city automobiles" in several weeks .
You could probably triple your investment by then. The Hungarian AMD-65 'folder' by TGI (my only gun with a sporter stock) would look equally chic in that brand bag, concealed by a very frayed towel.
I had the winning bid on a bullet mold that was on Ebay, a H&G 258. Its a 4 cavity mold with handles for the 41 Magnum. It should be here today or Monday. On a lesser note, I have a Redding 223 body die and some MTM dry boxes on order that should be here today. The dry boxes are for the on going battle to keep my loading room neater!
I finally decided to step up to a progressive reloading press and ordered a Lee Load-Master 9mm kit this morning. MidwayUSA actually had them in stock.
