Thanks to everone who posted to this thread. The input was helpful.

I decided on the H&K P2000 .40 S&W. Why? (not intended to start a debate or small forum riot) :D

- The H&K fit my hand the best.
- The P2000, when comparing weight and size to the similar model Sig products was superior. (This will be a concealed carry gun for me.)
- The Sigs (in my opinion) were slightly bulkier than the H&K; both in width, overall design, and length.
- I decided on .40 S&W caliber as a good compromise between the 9mm and the .45

Here's my new baby...

Finally a special thanks to KHornet for his assistance and guidance.

That gun looks like a piece of crap. When you decide to sell it, convert it to V3 (stupid California laws) and PM me :D

Congrats on your purchase :)

I think you made a fine choice! Looked at the P2K's myself but I just don't see them being worth the extra $ over the USP compacts. Guess it's a matter of personal taste asthetically. (I'm considering a P2000sk though)

Skunk: What aspect of V3 is required for it to be legal out there in KA?

Congrats on your choice.

I'll toss in my 2cents. After purchasing my USP-C .40, I wanted to switch to a 9mm. However, after trying out a Sig in 9mm, I ended up staying with the HK. Now, I'm itching for a P7. The USP just doesn't compare.
